El context: Tradicionalment, la comanda en els negocis minoristes com bars, restaurants o botigues depenia exclusivament de la visita d’un comercial que a través d’una aplicació de tablet realitzava la comanda al client. L’objectiu del negoci era obrir un canal self-service mitjançant una app mòbil perquè el mateix client pogúes abastir-se de forma autònoma en qualsevol moment.
El gran repte d’aquest projecte era adaptar a la nova aplicació un sistema de promocions i descomptes molt complex que acostumava a supervisar o a aplicar de manera manual el comercial. Segons els tipus de productes, les quantitats o les combinacions que seleccionava l’usuari, s’aplicaven diferents regles de preu plenes de condicionals en temps real. Era imprescindible comunicar de manera clara i senzilla en cada moment quin preu estava pagant el client, quines promocions se li estaven aplicant i quines altres ofertes podia arribar a assolir.
